Cabarita

This unique and architecturally designed residence is positioned on a stunning waterfront site in Cabarita.

Built over two levels, plus a basement below water table and high-tide levels, a key challenge of this build was to create a waterside pool close to the water.  In order to ensure that it was not affected by tidal uplift, the structure had to be anchored down with deep piles.

Inside, a stunning spiral staircase provides a centre piece and creates a lightwell right down through the house, drawing light from a large skylight above.

The white minimal staircase design is complimented by warm cedar throughout the house, and the high-end specifications even continues to the roof where handmade Italian tiles are used.
